The knockers are sand cast in solid brass, bronze or nickel silver at Michael Healy’s own foundry on the Blackstone River in Rhode Island, and each carries his signature. Healy trained in metal sculpture at Notre Dame and began by restoring historic statues and casting bronze architectural elements around New England. Finishes include polished brass with black patina, oiled bronze, brushed nickel silver and matte black cast iron, each sealed with a durable protective coating. The range also includes monogram knockers, LED-lit doorbell ringers and covers for video doorbells.
