FritsJurgens designs and manufactures high-end architectural pivot hinges from Kolham in the Netherlands, a family business now in its third generation with roots reaching back to 1930. Their hinges hide entirely inside the door, supporting panels up to 500 kg and 4 meters wide across almost any material. By making the hardware invisible, they give architects, designers and makers complete creative freedom.
The Hinge Made Invisible
Each system is built into the door itself, hidden between a bottom pivot unit and a top pivot anchor so nothing interrupts the clean line of the panel. Precision-engineered hydraulics deliver controlled, fluid movement with adjustable soft-closing, backcheck and defined hold positions.
